The villa is situated in the premier position on the Grezac Hills that overlook the attractive town of Lodeve. It is within a 10 minute stroll of shops, restaurants, cafés and the local market, or a two minute drive into town where there is plenty of free parking. Described lyrically as the ‘Gateway to the Mediterranean’ and labelled an ‘Art and History’ town, Lodeve is on the edge of France's most important and largest natural national park that contains some of the most stunning scenery in Europe.

The compact town is nestled in a horseshoe of hills in a basin where two rivers join into one.
Lodeve is in the department of Hérault and within an easy drive of the thriving, multicultural city of Montpellier with its lively street life and attractive architecture, also to a choice of the many sandy beaches along the Mediterranean and close to the international airports.

The Hérault valley provides a wealth of both historical sites and natural wonders in its rocky terrain, comprising the most varied scenic and exciting part of the whole of Languedoc.

The region of Languedoc is the largest wine and olive growing area of France and one of least polluted spots on earth. With its 300 days a year of sun, pure air and mountainous terrain, it is the favourite area for the French to holiday. Its long coastline stretches from the Petite Camargue in the east, famous for its wild white horses and pink flamingos, to Roussillon and the Pyrénées mountain range in the west and the border of Spain.

The region is known across the world for its attraction for artists. The bright Herault light has inspired many painters, artists and craftsmen from many parts of the globe. All art is celebrated here with a flourishing artisan population.
